Your Home’s Story, Told in Kilowatts

Most of us treat our utility bills like a mystery—a number that arrives once a month, demanding payment without explanation. A Home Energy Report changes the narrative. It transforms raw data into a clear, actionable roadmap for your living space.

By analyzing your consumption patterns, local climate data, and appliance efficiency, this report identifies exactly where your home is "leaking" money and comfort. It’s more than just a list of upgrades; it’s about understanding the pulse of your home so you can live more sustainably and comfortably.

Solar Asset Performance & Safety Audits

A solar array is a silent powerhouse, but silence shouldn't be mistaken for perfection. While your monitoring app might show "green for go," a Solar Inspection Report dives beneath the glass to ensure your investment is actually performing at its peak potential.

Think of it as a professional health screening for your energy independence. From checking the integrity of your roof mounts to spotting microscopic "hot spots" in the cells, this report provides the technical assurance that your system is safe, efficient, and built to last the full 25 years.

Couple speaking with Inspector png

  • What it is: A marketing-centric document designed to be placed on the kitchen counter during open houses. It "translates" technical solar data into selling points.

  • Who it is for: Sellers and Listing Agents.

  • Why it is important: Many buyers are intimidated by solar. This report clearly explains the age of the system, warranty status, and—most importantly—the offset percentage (how much of the electric bill the solar covers). It turns a "complicated feature" into a "premium asset."

Solar Appraisal Report

  • What it is: A valuation-focused report using industry-standard methods (like the PV Value® tool) to determine the fair market value the solar adds to the property.

  • Who it is for: Appraisers, Lenders, and Sellers.

  • Why it is important: Without a certified solar appraisal, a bank appraiser might give the solar system "zero value" because they lack the data to justify an adjustment. This report provides the math needed to defend a higher asking price.

The Solar Asset Performance & Safety Audit For Your Peace Of Mind

Think of this as a "wellness exam" for your home’s power plant. While solar panels are built to be tough, they live in a harsh environment of wind, rain, and baking heat. Our Solar Inspection Report is a comprehensive "health check" that goes far beyond a quick glance from the ladder.

What’s inside?

We roll up our sleeves to ensure every part of your investment is performing perfectly. We check that every bolt is tight (racking torque), wires are tucked safely away from the elements, and your inverter is converting sunlight into savings efficiently. We even use high-tech thermal imaging to spot "hot spots"—tiny hidden issues invisible to the naked eye—before they become big problems.

Who is this for?

  • Home Buyers: If you’re in your "due diligence" period, you deserve to know exactly what you’re buying. Don't inherit someone else's maintenance headache.

  • Proud Homeowners: Whether your system is two years old or ten, a check-up ensures you're getting the maximum "bang for your buck" on your utility bills.

  • Property Managers: Keep your solar assets running smoothly without the guesswork.

Why it’s a "Must-Have"

A standard home inspector is great at checking outlets and faucets, but they often aren't trained in the technical nuances of high-voltage solar energy. Our report bridges that gap. We identify hidden safety hazards—like fire risks from improper grounding—and verify that your system is actually producing every kilowatt it promised.

Sleep better knowing your home is safe, your investment is sound, and your roof is working as hard as you do.

General Inspectors check outlets and faucets. As a SPRK-Certified professional, I am trained in DC/AC electrical theory, solar-specific code compliance, and structural mounting requirements unique to Floridas wind zones

A standard home inspection license doesn't cover the complexities of photovoltaic (PV) systems. We bridge that gap

    • We don't just "look" at panels. We use high-resolution thermal imaging to detect internal cell failures and "hot spots" that are invisible to the naked eye but can lead to system fires or massive power loss.

Why Choose a SPRK Certified Specialist

Blue Dollar Symbol

We don’t sell panels, and we don’t install them. Our only job is to provide an unbiased technical audit that ensures your 25-year investment is actually performing to its rated specifications.

  • What We Find: We detect "Hot Spots," failed bypass diodes, and faulty wiring—internal defects that are invisible to the naked eye but glow under infrared.

  • Why It Matters: These heat signatures are early warning signs of system fires and significant power loss. Identifying them early protects both your home and your ROI.

  • The Next Step: If an issue is found, we provide the thermal "proof" and specific panel coordinates you need to secure a successful warranty repair from your installer.

Navigating Ownership & Paperwork

When a home with solar changes hands, the paperwork is often more complex than the inspection itself. My reports help clarify the status of:

  • Transfer of Ownership: For Owned systems, we verify that warranties (panels and inverters) are transferable to the new owner.

  • Leases & PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements): If the system is not owned, the buyer must qualify to take over the payments. We review these contracts to explain the monthly costs and "escalator clauses" to the buyer so there are no surprises at closing.

  • Net Metering Status: We identify if the home is under a "Grandfathered" net metering agreement. In many regions, older agreements are more financialy beneficial than new ones; knowing if that status transfers is vital to the home's value.
